From the Ground Up | The Architectural Process
It is not often you get to appreciate the beauty of an architectural plan, until you see the finished project. When designing this home, Jack was inspired by the environment in which the home would be situated in and ensured the elevations of the home would provide a view from every window.
Both street frontages are looking over maintained bush land, this architectural masterpiece has been has been designed with a focus on functionality, comfort, and lifestyle. An expansive 50 squares of home, offering a versatile floor plan and combining tasteful high quality inclusions with bright and open living areas. The gourmet kitchen includes an island bench and butlers pantry fitted with stone bench tops and Smeg appliances fit for any chef. Accommodation includes four oversized bedrooms complete with custom designed built-in wardrobes, a deluxe master bedroom with retreat, walk in robe and hidden en-suite, as well as a comfortable self contained studio with expansive views of the district.
From the Ground Up | The Interior Design Process
Using colours to reflect the beauty of the environment in which the home is placed, Splendour Interiors used deep colours for the exterior of the home such as a black roof and raku coloured weatherboard to blend into the environment, therefore allowing the greenery of the bush land to complement the home. Now it wouldn't be a Splendour Interior's design without adding an element of grandeur to the home. Through implementing a feature stone to the front entry facade, the home is provided a wow factor.
Throughout the interior of the home, neutral tones were implemented with touches of colour to allow for the opportunity to 'dare to be different' with the furniture chosen. Inspired by a country homestead, the beauty of the design is in the functionality, interjected by tinges of personality and history.
